rod. This truck’s a sleeper. On the outside it is straight
classic truck restoration with the exception of the paint which is
a body off the frame $10,500 show car paint job. Underneath it is
all street rod: 350 small block Chevy, 350 turbo trans, Edlebrock
headers, 4 barrel, valve covers and intake manifold, The whole
fuel system has been recently been replaced from the gas
tank to the carburetor, Brass radiator, Electronic distributer,
Mustang II front end with power steering, 8” Ford truck rear,
Completely rewired, Recarra steering wheel, VDO gauges, New window
glass I used it for business promotion and it gets a LOT of
attention. I’ve retired and
so I want to sell. Nice exhaust rumble – not too loud, Inspected
‘til 10/12 – no emissions required, No heat or air which is
not as bad as it sounds. I drove it summer and winter (no snow)
for five years. The other day it was 35
and I took off my gloves and opened my jacket because I was a
little warm. In summer there is a big cowl vent that blows a good
bit of air on you. There were certainly times I wished I had heat
and air. I got estimates of $800 to $1000 to install a unit but
never bothered. When I added power steering I redid all the belt
pulleys on the front of the engine so there is a spare for an a/c
compressor.
