Cruising around the internet,
you'll find LOTS of websites
that offer free and paid ads to
show off your car. But if you
really look, you'll notice that
99% of them are not just street
rods. Most of these sites will
take anything and everything.
These so called "street
rod" sites will have
Corvettes, Camaros and ads from
anyone who will spend a dollar
with them. Not here. I turn
down ads all the time that are
not street rods. I try to keep
this site as close to an all
street rod site that I can. I do
fudge a little bit if it's an
extremely nice vehicle that has
a lot of street rod heritage
built in.

For Sale is NOT an automated
website. Most of the sites now
allow you to post your ad,
upload your pictures and pay for
it all at once and a computer
does all the work. Well, I guess
I'm a bit old fashioned. I do it
the hard way. Automated programs
could care less how good your ad
looks. They also don't correct
spelling mistakes or make your
pictures look the best they can.
I think I'll just keep on doing
it the way I've always done it.
Automation may make things
simpler, but not always better
for you.
The rates are
very reasonable and you have several different ways to
advertise your car. Click
Here to see the different types of ads we have
to fit your budget!
Once you
have submitted your ad, you will
be directed to a secure server
for payment information. Once
payment is received your ad will
be posted (usually) within 48
hours.
There
are NO GUARANTEES that your car
will sell! There are many
reasons why great cars don't
sell. The biggest reason is
PRICE. If your price is too
high, you won't sell. If the
price is too low, people may
think there's something wrong
with the car. The best thing to
do is get your car appraised by
a reputable appraiser and price
your car accordingly. |
